Don't Do That
Know everyone line up for swimming no camron I don't want you to use those scissors to cut rose's hair. No Jacob you will not need to take off Oliver''s glasses and jump on them. Now Josh where do you think your going no you can not go to the pool on your own come on lets go. Okay here we are yes you will need to put your togs on to go into the pool you can not go in your clothes Daniel. Sam what are you doing to the life guard no don't push him into the water Sam!! I do wish you didn't do that Sam.
What are you doing with Ambers towel no you can not use her towel for yourself you are a boy and she is a girl stop Liam.
Now everyone it is time to get in the pool. No Sam you can not belly flop into the pool and Tane you can not bomb into the pool Eli and Cooper I do not believe that you would drown you know how to swim now get in. Sam you have made to much trouble you will not be going for a swim.

Now everyone 2 hours is up come on line up to go back to class, Sam I know you didn't get a swim but that isn't my fault you were the one being naughty it's yo're fault no don't jump in no!!!!!!! SAM!!!!!!

“Im going out Tomas”! Hold on, hi im Katie. And this is a story all about, adventure kindness and all sorts of other things. I hope you like like this story, it a very special one to.


“I wonder when were going to get our spirit animals” asked my cousin. Me and my  cousin Tomas were wild kids. Well when i say wild i mean we don’t live in a home. Well we do but its just a small little box house on the side of the footpath. It’s pretty worm, but only because we found some pillows and a blanket on the side of the road. One day when I went out, I saw some necter that you drink and then you get your spirt animal. So i drunk it and then all of usuden a tatto s in the twisted shape of a tiger came up on my shaking arm!

Hi my name is Katie this is about me and other things you will read in the book i hope you enjoy!

Setting: Home
Characters: Main characters,Katie Tomas.  Bridget.
Theme: Comedy

I just got in to bed and Im asleep Im dreaming but um… Hhhh here goes nothing Im dreaming about well I, Im dreaming about Im in a magical world and then all of a sudden a monster comes and… KATIE!!!! Shouts mum well i think its mum. I run down stairs. Hold on, your not mum!!! What are you doing up! I was going to get something to eat bu- you were what. I never get up and have something to eat so i don’t no what he was doing. Oh ye and he is my annoying brother Tomas i don't no how were even related. Gosh dosent matter. As you were saying. Well i saw there was NO carrots left and new start away that you ate them all! Me?. I don't eat carrots all the time, it was dad! I stomp back up the stairs in anger dad is still up in bed in his phone. Then i say in anger. Dad, Tomas wants to see you! Its morning now and its Saturday! The day i love the most. I wish every day was Saturday so then no school no not one bit. My best friend Bridget is coming over, I think she's here now. I go to the door. Hi. i say, hi says Bridget. i see she's holding a bucket of slime! What that, I say I bucket of slime, says Bridget. Ok so what are you planing to do with it. Well- Is that a bucket of slime asks Tomas?Oh no not him anyone but him! This is terrible just terrible!

I think that this story is funny and it was hard making up all of these ideas!

My reading goal this term was to…Compare  
TASK inquiring readers go through a process to gather, organise and respond to new information. We have been using  the ‘GET IT, SORT IT, USE IT’ process for our own reading inquiry.

My inquiry question was…I am trying to find out what vets do and how to become a vet when I'm older!

Homework

Description: We read the poem “My Remarkable Journey” which inspired us to write our own remarkable journeys about why our homework wasn’t at school today.

HOMEWORK!

I fell out of bed!Grrr,i hate mondays its homework! I grab my home work, and i think i put it on my desk, but i axedently put it in the paper shredder. I grab the other half out and, scrambled down stairs.

Aaaaaa now I'm greeted by i don't know how many grizzly bears!They think my home work is food so i run back up stairs and i jump out the window.Then an eagle swoops by and gets a good grip on my shoulders I still have my home work i my hands then i hold on to the eagles strong legs!! Oh no! Gasp, hhhh! I just drooped my home work! grrr if my stupid teacher didn't give me that stupid home work then it would be sinking in quick sand right now!!!!!!!!  then the eagle drops me and right over A TAR STOR! i cant move now I'm covered in the stuff oh now I'm rowling but in the direction to school!


On my way no on my tar sticky bumpy way down the hill i get sprad by hundreds of sprinklers i can move but im still rowling!! Now im in school my teacher is waiting I stand up,ok so I'm sorry i don't have my home work but i say i have done a poem of how i don't have it and it goes like this!!!

Description: We have been participating in 3 different workshops around colour, compositions and fonts.  We put these skills to use in a poster sharing our knowledge about Te Reo Maori.

Why? We have noticed that our posters are too cluttered and do not communicate a  message well.

Task: Make a poster about Te Reo Maori.



Criteria:
Message: My message is clear and purposeful.  Everything that is on my poster relates to my message.

Safe fishing hiwi the kiwi


Safe fishing

I open one of my eyes, its a lovely day and then i go back to sleep, then  mum comes in to my room. Grrr, mum i was sleeping! Then mum says were going fishing. So now i jump out of bed, go get my fishing gear and put my clothes on! then i see mum with out her life jacket with her, so then i say. MUM!you need to get your life jacket, but mum says i don't need a life jacket, I’m a great swimmer and were not going out to far. then i say in a low voice, mum i know your a great swimmer and all, but don't be blaming me if you drown! so she puts on her life jacket, and we go out to see!

Now i cheek that we have salted ice and a wet towel and if we don't then yucky fish here we come.But we do have those two things so I'm happy!Then mum catches a humongus fish and she's putting all her strength in to it trying to pull it up then it finely comes up mum is so tired now she says we can eat this for breaky!Then i say mum you need to need to put it back but she says why?And i say it might have babies in its tummy! So then mum puts it back in to the water with the wet towel so that its scales don't fall off! Then mum catches a medium size fish and i say that will be perfect!!!! so then we go back home and we ate the yummy fish!!!




This is my story about the rules for hiwi the kiwi and the fishing trip me and my mum go on this story took a lot of time so I hope you enjoy it!!!!!!!!!

My smart goals

WALT: Set Smart Goals


Task:
S.M.A.R.T. means Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Time-sensitive.


My writing goal is to...Review and revise my writing to correct grammar spelling and punctation independently.
The reason I have decided to focus on this goal is because...I can get better at doing my writing and learn more!
I will accomplish my goal by...taking steps up the stairs by editing my writing also to make it better and i will achieve it by the end of the term 2!!!

My reading goal is to...regularly discuss what I'm reading 1-1 with someone who can push my thinking in different ways.
The reason I have decided to focus on this goal is because...when i read it will help me and i will be a better reader.
I will accomplish my goal by...by taking steps up the stairs!and i will discuss and read it again!.I will Finnish the my goal by the end of the term!

My highlights were cross-country because i came second!!!


What were your greatest challenges this term?  Why?grass hopper tennis because when we play games some times i can't hit the ball properly!


How are you going towards acting with integrity? Why?  How could you improve? i am acting towards integrity by putting all the pens away when they need to be put away but i could still work on it by putting everything on the floor away that needs to be put away!!!!


What are your goals in our learner disposition wall?  Where to next?My goal on the learning disposition is to move up to self directed!! I could do this by focusing more on my learning all the time.
